Sharing and Grouping

We have been learning how to divide in P2 although we have been calling it 'sharing' or putting items into groups.  However some children have learned how to use the divide symbol and have been writing their own sums.  Some children even know that if there is anything left over, it is called a 'remainder'.  Here are P2 playing some games and solving division sums.
